The purposes of the Australian Cardijn Institute Cooperative Limited are as follows:
1. To promote and carry out research and studies based on the methods developed by Cardinal Joseph Cardijn
2. To organise and hold education and training programs for community leaders and organisers and other interested parties based on the above.
3. To produce publications and educational resources relevant to the above.
4. To organise any other activities, programs or projects in line with the above.
5. To cooperate with other movements, groups and institutions whose objectives are commensurate with those of the Australian Cardijn Institute CooperativeLtd.
